Hi, I’m Karlye — thank you so much for taking the time to be here. Blue Indigo Co. began as a handmade gift for a friend and grew into something I could have only dreamed of. Over the years, my headwraps have made their way to nearly every state, a handful of countries, and even into local shops.
What started as a dream has become a business rooted in the belief that handmade goods should be adorable, affordable, and made for everyone. Each piece is created with care, crafted by hand, and made to be as unique as the people who wear them.
Blue Indigo Co. would not be possible without the love and support of my husband, Christian, and our three dogs, who bring me joy, peace, and the confidence to keep going.

how it started → how it's going
It all started in 2018 when I found Rachel and Marly on Instagram. Marly wore headwraps in almost every one of Rachel’s posts and when I met them for the first time I brought two for her I had made myself. They barely fit right, and they were way too small but Rachel was so kind and let me try it again, and then again and again until I got her size perfectly. I fell in love with the process, hand sewing headwraps and tying the knots- putting all the pieces together. Rachel's extreme kindness, patience, and friendship have carried Blue Indigo Co. to where it is today and I'm so lucky to have found a best friend and a business I have grown with and love.
